Refund and Cancellation Policy

Our commitment: Lucky Duck Productions LLC stands behind our work. If you are not satisfied with a service, please contact us first so we can understand the issue and try to make it right. Most concerns can be resolved through conversation. This policy describes the financial side of refunds and cancellations when an adjustment is needed.
Where a written Service Agreement contains its own refund or cancellation terms, the Service Agreement controls.

1.DuckBot setup (one-time fee)
- Before deployment (no hardware delivered, no setup work performed): full refund less any third-party costs already incurred (hardware ordered, software licenses purchased on your behalf).
- After deployment but within 14 days: pro-rata refund based on work performed and value delivered. Hardware costs (cost + 30% markup) are non-refundable once hardware has been delivered to you.
- After 14 days: setup fees are non-refundable. Ongoing concerns are addressed through the monthly service relationship and our support process.
2.DuckBot monthly service (recurring)
- Cancellation: you may cancel monthly service with 30 days written notice. Service continues through the end of the current paid billing month plus the 30-day notice period.
- Mid-month cancellations: monthly service fees are not pro-rated. Service continues through the end of the current billing cycle.
- Service issues: if a documented service outage or significant failure prevents you from using DuckBot for more than 7 days within a billing cycle, contact us and we will issue a credit or refund equivalent to the affected period.
3.Clawdio-Pro on the Cloud (cloud-hosted alternative to the DuckBot appliance)
- Cancellation: 30 days written notice. Service continues through the end of the current paid billing month plus the 30-day notice period.
- Mid-month cancellations: monthly fees are not pro-rated.
- Service issues: same outage credit terms as DuckBot monthly service. If documented platform unavailability exceeds 7 days within a billing cycle, contact us for a credit or refund equivalent to the affected period.
4.Web hosting (monthly or annual)
- Monthly hosting: cancel any time with 7 days notice. Service continues through the end of the current billing cycle. No refund of partial months.
- Annual hosting: cancel any time with 30 days notice. Pro-rata refund of unused months at the equivalent monthly rate (the 15% annual discount is forfeit on cancellation; pro-rata is computed at the monthly rate).
- Hosting migration assistance: if you cancel and want help moving your site elsewhere, we provide reasonable migration assistance at no additional charge.
5.Domain registration (annual)
- Standard domains (.com, .net, etc.) are non-refundable once registered. The registration is yours for the full year โ you control the domain through Ionos.
- Premium TLDs (.io, .ai, .app, etc.) are non-refundable.
6.Website development (one-time, fixed-bid)
- Before work begins (deposit only paid, no design or development started): full refund less any third-party costs already incurred.
- In-progress (design or development underway): refund of unbilled portions; work completed and delivered is non-refundable.
- After delivery: non-refundable. Post-delivery concerns are addressed through revisions per the Service Agreement and through our website care plans.
7.Website care plans (recurring)
- Cancellation: any time with 7 days notice. Service continues through the end of the current paid month. No refund of partial months.
8.Hardware resale (computers, monitors, peripherals, networking, scanners, POS hardware)
- Returns within 14 days, in original condition: refund of cost of item; the 30% markup is non-refundable (covers our procurement and delivery time).
- Defective items: Lucky Duck assists with manufacturer warranty claims at no additional charge. Defective items can be returned to Lucky Duck for full refund within 30 days of delivery.
- Items damaged after delivery, used items, or items past 14 days: non-refundable.
- Special-order items: non-refundable once the order is placed with the supplier.
9.OS Migration / Install service
- Before service begins: full refund.
- After service begins: non-refundable; service is single-session and non-divisible.
10.Marketing services (BVM placements, digital ads, brand work)
- BVM print placements: governed by the BVM client agreement, not this policy. BVM handles billing and refunds for BVM placements per their terms.
- Other marketing services: governed by individual Service Agreements.
11.Zoho Setup & Management (MOaaS) and other recurring service tiers
- Cancellation: any time with 30 days written notice. Service continues through the end of the current paid month plus the 30-day notice period.
- Service issues: addressed through credits or refunds for documented service failures, similar to DuckBot monthly service terms.
๐ฉHow to request a refund or cancel a service
- Email us at support@luckyduckproductionsllc.com with:
- Your business name and primary contact name
- The service or invoice you want refunded or cancelled
- The reason (so we can do better next time)
- We will respond within 2 business days to acknowledge the request.
- If a refund is approved, we will process it within 10 business days, returned to the original payment method when possible.
For monthly or recurring services, we ask that cancellation requests come from the primary billing contact on the account.

If you believe a refund or cancellation has been handled incorrectly, please contact us first to discuss. We are committed to fair resolution and would much rather correct a mistake than lose a relationship over a billing concern.
If we cannot reach agreement, the dispute resolution provisions of our Terms of Service apply.
