AI Receptionist · Klamath Falls & Southern Oregon
An AI-backed front desk on the number you already have — every call and text captured, matched to the customer, and waiting in your CRM. We run it on our own business line every day.

The problem
Most small businesses don't lose leads because anyone dropped the ball on purpose. They lose them because the ball landed while they were on a roof, under a sink, or standing in front of another customer.
The big hosting companies now sell an “AI receptionist” for exactly that. We've been running ours — on our own business line, here in Klamath Falls — and it's part of what we ship with a DuckBot.
What it actually does
No porting, no new phone system, no new number on your truck. Calls still ring your phone like they always have. The system sits behind your number, not between you and your customers.
When a customer already in your CRM calls, their name and record come up on your phone as it rings — locked screen or unlocked. Answer with “Hi Sarah, how'd the install go?” instead of “uh, who's this?”
Answered, placed, or missed, the call lands on that customer's record automatically. No end-of-day data entry, and no more “who was I supposed to call back?”
Right on the call card: jot a note, set a callback task, or book the next appointment against your real availability — without leaving the call or opening the full record.
If you can't pick up, the caller hears a short message inviting them to text instead. Their text lands in your CRM matched to their record, you get an instant alert, and you reply when you're free. The whole conversation stays on their file.
Your own booking page, on your own domain — not a third-party calendar brand — showing your real open times. Customers pick a slot, choose phone, video, or in person, and get a confirmation.
Texting, done right
Our texting is carrier-registered and consent-gated: it will not send a customer a message they haven't opted in to receive. That isn't a policy page — it's enforced in the software, which refuses the send outright.
That protects your number from being filtered, your messages from silently disappearing, and your business from a complaint you didn't know you'd earned.
Where it lives
The receptionist layer is part of the DuckBot appliance — the AI operations system running at local businesses in Klamath Falls today. Your calls, texts, bookings, and customer records all live in one place, with a local team keeping watch over it.
You can also run the receptionist alongside a website we build and host, so the same assistant that greets people on your site is connected to the same customer records as your phone. See AI Website Building and DuckBot Appliances.
We didn't build this as a demo to sell you. We built it because we needed it, we run it every day, and now it's yours to run too.
Straight answers
We'd rather tell you now than have you find out after you've paid. Here is what this is not.
There is no synthetic voice answering your phone and holding a conversation with your customer. Your callers reach you, or they're invited to text. We think that's the right answer for a local business anyway — but if you were picturing a robot receptionist taking messages out loud, this isn't that.
We make no recordings of your phone calls. What gets saved is the call record — who, when, how long, and whatever notes you choose to add.
Pricing
A bare phone number, an existing CRM, and a full DuckBot are three different starting points, and quoting them the same way would be dishonest. There's no published price for this because there isn't an honest one before we've seen your setup.
