Who this page is for

This page is for anyone who has connected a social media account — a Facebook Page, an Instagram account, or both — to Lucky Duck Productions LLC so that we can manage it for them, and who now wants to disconnect it, have the data we hold deleted, or both.

It also covers any other personal information Lucky Duck Productions LLC holds about you. You do not have to be a current client to use it, and you do not have to give a reason.

1. Disconnect your accounts — you can do this yourself

Withdrawing our access does not need our involvement, our permission, or our cooperation. Choose whichever of these matches how you connected, or do both if you are not sure.

Option A — from your Lucky Duck dashboard

1. Sign in at hub.luckyduck.productions.
2. Open the Social Media tile.
3. Choose Stop Lucky Duck managing my accounts and confirm.

We stop posting, replying and reporting immediately, and your permission record shows the date you ended it.

Option B — from your own Facebook business settings

This removes our access at the source, on Facebook's side. Use this one if you granted us access as a business partner, and use it in addition to Option A if you want to be certain.

1. Go to business.facebook.com/settings/partners and sign in as an owner of your Page.
2. Find Lucky Duck Productions LLC in your list of partners.
3. Choose Remove and confirm.

Option C — if you connected by signing in with Facebook

1. Open your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
2. Find LuckyDuck CRM Insights in the list.
3. Choose Remove.

What happens the moment you disconnect, by any of these routes: our access token for your accounts is deleted straight away, we stop publishing, replying and collecting anything further, and no member of Lucky Duck staff can reach your accounts. This is automatic. Nothing you posted is removed from your own Page — your content stays yours and stays where it is.

2. Ask us to delete the data we hold

Disconnecting stops us collecting anything new. If you also want the data we have already stored deleted, ask us and we will delete it.

Email privacy@luckyduckproductionsllc.com with the subject Data deletion request, and include:

• Your name and your business name
• The account or accounts concerned (for example, the name of your Facebook Page)
• Whether you want only the social media data deleted, or everything we hold about you

You can also write to us or call us using the details at the bottom of this page. We do not charge for this, and we will not ask you to justify the request.

What we do, and how fast

• We acknowledge your request within 5 business days and may ask one question to confirm you are who you say you are — we will not delete a business's records on an unverified request.
• We complete the deletion and confirm it in writing within 30 days.
• If anything cannot be deleted, we tell you exactly what was kept and why, rather than quietly keeping it.

What gets deleted

• Access tokens for your accounts — these go immediately on disconnection, before you ask
• Copies we hold of your posts, comments, messages and performance figures
• Reports and analytics we generated from your accounts
• Your permission and designation records, once the retention period below has run

What we have to keep, and why

Two things survive a deletion request, and only these two:

• Billing and tax records — invoices, payments and the contract record, which U.S. tax law requires us to retain for 7 years. These are financial records; they do not contain your social media content.
• A minimal record that permission was granted and later withdrawn, including the dates — kept for 24 months so that both of us can show what was authorized and when if it is ever questioned. It contains no content from your accounts.

Everything else goes. If you do not want us to hold even those, tell us and we will explain exactly what the legal position is for your situation.

3. If you just want to change what we may do

You do not have to choose between all and nothing. From the Social Media tile on your Lucky Duck dashboard you can change which permissions you have given us — for example, letting us keep reporting while stopping us from posting — without disconnecting.
